Since 1964
Where three lines met, the story keeps rolling.
Ashford Junction was a crew-change stop where the Northern, the Valley and the Coalbrook lines crossed the prairie. When the last freight left, the town kept the roundhouse. Today it holds working steam, a restoration shop you can watch through the glass, and the people who still know how to keep a fire hot.

The railway reshaped this land and the lives of everyone on it, including the crews who built it and the communities it pushed aside. We tell all of those stories, not just the shiny ones.
